The smart healthcare market showed a steep market expansion of $233.3 billion by 2020, along with an increase in the number of start-ups supported by the government, and most of the growth is estimated to be attributable to the growth of the mobile health market. As of last year, the estimated total number of mobile health apps increased 57% and the number of app downloads totalled 3.2 billion, with 52% of smartphone users gathering health-related information on their phone. Most newer phones have inbuilt health-related data gathering capacities predicating this number to soar in the upcoming years. The fastest-growing mobile-health market for several years is global health-related service APPs accounted for 4.65%, and in detail, 48.1% were in the fitness and health sector, of which the fitness sector accounts for 36% of the total APPs. Top categories also include weight loss,exercise, women's health, sleep and meditation. (It is expected to show a high annual growth rate in the future.)
