Aging has had an important and extensive impact on all aspects of society as a whole. Globally, two people are 60 years old every second, and 58 million people are 60 years old per year. Currently, the population aged 60 or older is one in nine, but it is expected to increase to one in five by 2050. The aging population is taking place in all parts of the world and in countries at various levels of development. Developing countries are the fastest in aging, but among them are countries with a large youth population. Currently, there are 15 countries with an elderly population exceeding 10 million, of which 7 are developing countries.
Aging is an achievement brought about by the development of a country. The extension of life expectancy can be said to be one of the greatest achievements mankind has achieved. Nutrition and hygiene, medical care, health, education, and economic life have improved, making it possible for people to live a long life. Currently, 33 countries are over 80 years old, and 19 countries reached the same life expectancy five years ago. Currently, Japan is the only country with an elderly population of more than 30 percent over the age of 60, but by 2050, 64 countries with an elderly population exceeding 30 percent are expected to increase. It is thought that the socially and economically active, stable, and healthy elderly population can play a number of roles throughout society, but many social problems such as a lack of support and production population will be accompanied. How to make good use of the lifespan received from modern society is an opportunity, a challenge, and a task given to everyone for modern people living in the 21st century. The biggest problem for the elderly worldwide is income and health. To solve the problem, it is necessary to create a system that guarantees income for the elderly, maintains the highest level of physical and mental health through the development of basic health care and social services, and prevents them in advance at a low cost.
